We are looking for a Master Planner to join our Supply Chain Team on New Lynn Site in Auckland

Job responsibilities

  • Work with the local stakeholders to coordinate the S&OP Process, meeting schedules and communication of status and issues.
  • Provide full back-up support and equivalent coverage in other product areas in times of absence - Achievement of Monthly SOP Plan
  • Coordinate daily production / planning meetings
  • Work proactively with the production team to deliver plan, maximise constraints and resolve issues that may impact an effective workflow
  • Coordinate and manage the WIP levels for given area in line with agreed targets
  • Point of contact for commercial in terms the planning team
  • Ensure a cross functional approach to the daily/monthly production plans
  • Responsible for providing Raw Materials for manufacturing operations
  • Participation in regular review meetings with production planning and Logistics to ensure material coverage
  • Proactively review long lead time materials to ensure timely creation of requisitions to prevent stock outs and maintain safety stocks
  • Management of finish good and RM inventory
  • In SAP 1C use and maintain MRP processes and related operating systems to manage replenishment triggers
  • Work closely with freight forwarders to coordinate the delivery and receipt of Materials


Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years of Planning experience, previous background in the production planner role would be advantageous
  • Previous experience with SAP would be highly regarded
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Outstanding attention to details
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must have full and unconditional New Zealand working rights. No sponsorship provided.
