We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager at our telecom site in Dee Why NSW, with this role the person will:

  •  Leading and fostering a strong safety culture to create a safe work environment throughout our site.
  • Coordinate and lead the maintenance team to achieve key factory KPI’s (reduce breakdowns, reduce response time, PM’s, etc )
  • Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work.
  • Direct and coach the maintenance team in resolving breakdowns and drive high performance.
  • Monitor daily plant maintenance activities to ensure priorities are met.
  • Liaison with production personnel to ensure a high degree of availability of plant and equipment.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance related downtime. Drive projects to improve maintenance KPI’s.
  • Manage the maintenance Variable budget to be under the Target without compromising on the plant needs.
  • Manage the maintenance program (Mainpac) that includes preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, breakdowns and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain the maintenance roster.
  • Leading projects in sourcing new equipment’s, installation and automation. Drive and support continuous improvement projects.
  • Identify and address the hazards in view of creating a safe workplace. Play a key role in HSE of the people and plant
  • Liase and coordinate with the contractors for Maintenance, HSE and site service activities.
  • Ensure the security of equipment software and backups.
  • Implement and drive 6S philosophy

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced in manufacturing techniques
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience with the ability to understand, assess and work through and resolve maintenance issues.                                  
  • Fault analysis and problem solving in a production environment                 
  • Project management skills                                                          
  • Communication skills with all levels within a company (shop floor to plant manager)
  • Comprehensive experience in preventative and predictive maintenance.        
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Self motivated attitude to work independently and drive the team.
  • Electrical Background would be preferred with 5 years experience in relevant field.
