Team Overview and Job responsibilities 

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team. Joinville Unit.

 

What you'll do:

• Control of industrial indicators, aiming to meet the objectives of the unit's objectives.

• Ensure the activities and involvement of the operational level to the continuous improvement system and the procedures of the Management Systems (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety).

• Management of the production, maintenance and quality team.

• Management of improvements in the areas.

• Management of tools and components used in the process, aiming to improve its useful life.

• Develop and manage new materials, processes and suppliers, aiming at cost reduction.

• Monitor the services of third parties

• Ensure the activities of the production phases x specified product and process requirements;

• Team management, ensuring training, performance evaluation, feedback, etc.

• Management of the activities of the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention and safety procedures

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional with the following skills:

• Degree in Engineering in the area of Metallurgy, Production or Mechanics.

• Experience with leadership in manufacturing environment.

• Management experience in copper processing industry, is desirable.

• Experience in maintenance management, technical analysis and team guidance, will be a differential.

• Quality and focus on the customer, versatile and with interaction with customers and other visitors.

• Demonstrate administrative aptitude, time management and multitasking ability.

• Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with stressful circumstances.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork.

• Understanding of production processes, coach/mentor skills and experience with conflict resolution between employees.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

• Available to work on a working schedule relay regime.

• Proactive;

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders throughout the company, from operational area to the Board of Directors.

• Passion for learning and personal growth, with a significant focus on the developments of the sector.

• Open to change

• Have excellent general engineering problem-solving skills.

• Ability to motivate, as well as a solid level of technical understanding of the manufacturing process, products and machinery.

• Skill in using excel will be appreciated.

• Knowledge of the English language is required.
