Your responsibilities will include

  • Understand OH&S policies and obligations, then provide OH&S leadership within Prysmian
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and all stakeholders.  Ensure full understanding of my obligations under the OH&S Act                                    
  • Ensure personal and company compliance to all Trade Practice Act obligations.             
  • Effective representation Prysmian on Project site to ensure all Prysmian policies, values and commercial objectives are met                          
  • On time execution and commissioning of Projects in budget and to customer expectation
  • Build a strong technical relationship with service providers to insure seamless delivery of Projects
  • Develop a very strong understanding of the Oceania HV market and its technical requirements to offer value proposals for competitiveness                                      
  • Work closely with core customers to understand their business models for HV projects and suggest or develop strategies to create synergies for delivery in conjunction with key EPCs
  • Hunt for opportunities where new products / solutions can be offered to the customer to lower total cost of ownership.                                                                                                       
  • High level design and cost analysis to compare current solutions cost to new proposed methods will be required.                                                                                              
  • Take the lead on site in resolving any Quality matters relating to products or installation that may arise
  • Work with R&D to fine tune existing products or develop new products.                          
  • Facilitate the qualification / approval of new products / materials / designs with customers
  • Active involvement with tender and major opportunities to formulate bid strategy and pricing to ensure we make a complying offer and/or recommend any alternatives where appropriate 
  • To be part of the commercial team, realise the goals & values of the business as defined by the executive team.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders both externally and internally 
  • Min 5 years of experience in the same field
  • Technical knowledge of HV cable systems
  • Project management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Cost and Financial awareness
  • Proven team member who can maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • A passion for learning and personal growth, with meaningful focus on sales developments.
  • Ability to cope and work with disruption and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Have excellent general problem-solving skills and time management 
  • Work right in Australia
