The role

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager within our High Voltage Cable Systems business unit who is eager to succeed and capable of thriving in a diverse market with resilience and a customer-oriented approach

Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for the sales growth of HV cable and system solutions for Prysmian across the Oceania region. Central to the role will be the identification and development of Strategic Projects within the Energy Transmission Utilities, Infrastructure Projects, Rail and Renewable energy sectors.

 

The HV project pipeline in Australia presents excellent opportunity for growth, so your success will be driven by your skill in early engagement, the identification of project needs and solutions, and your capacity to influence project execution. The successful candidate will enjoy the chase, comfortable negotiating and closing deals in the hundreds of thousands, often millions of dollars.

 

 

We are looking for the following skills and motivations

Proven track record in tracking and winning Strategic Projects in cable systems.

Critical that you are internally motivated, can operate on your own and enjoy autonomy.

Prior experience working and dealing with large corporate organisations in B2B environments.

Knowledge or experience with HV cables and systems is essential

 

This is a dynamic role with a large amount of autonomy to make decisions within certain guidelines. You will have daily, monthly and annual volume and margin KPI's set and your success within the business is measured against these targets. The successful candidate will have the ability to make quick decisions, do a deal, are self-driven to success & cope with a high paced job where they are not always in control of the workload.
