Team Overview and Job responsibilities

Job title: Holding Cost Controller Specialist

Within Group Controlling, inside the Planning and Reporting team, the candidate has responsibility of Corporate Costs control and reporting.

The role is focus on:

  • Preparation of annual budget for all cost centres in cooperation with business/function responsible;
  • Periodic forecasting and analysis of activities generating costs;
  • Cooperation with accounting department in the monthly accounting closure, for accruals and, pre- paid expenses;
  • continuous assessment of the way budget is allocated and used, and advise business/functions on changes that can improve results or lower costs;
  • Responsible for managerial reporting in Hyperion due on a periodical basis (actual closure Profit and loss by destination, flash, forecast and annual budget);
  • Special focus is also dedicated to costs and projects assessment/review of big partner as Research and Development and Information system;
  • Cash flow planning and reporting for the holding entities

More than a simple reporting specialist, the candidate will be a strategic partner in cost-reduction efforts and a cost optimization advisor, building relationship between Finance and other functions that extend beyond tracking costs.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Holding Cost Controller specialist with the following key requirements:

  • At least from 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in FP&A and/or accounting positions possibly in multinational companies with a strong accounting and controlling principles knowledge;
  • A master’s degree in engineering or economics
  • Flexible mind set
  • Team working and problem-solving attitude
  • Capabilities in managing priorities and time
  • Strong relational skills
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Windows Office application, as well as SAP
  • Strong ability to network and work with international teams
