Stage - HQ Compliance

Role profile

The intern will support senior team members in monitoring specific compliance programs already in place, gaining an understanding of the level of maturity and protection of processes, and support key projects in 2021 driving Compliance Program Certification (ISO 19600:2014 and ISO 37001:2016).

 

This role will report to the EMEA and Turkey Compliance Director based in Milan, Italy.

 

Key Accountabilities

Among the many, the key compliance initiatives are:

  • Corporate Criminal liability / Anti-Corruption;
  • Trade compliance;
  • Antitrust & Competition; and
  • Privacy Data Management.

 

The main areas of support are the following:

  • drafting of internal procedures based current local or group requirements
  • analysis, updating and implementing of internal controls and audit recommendation follow up;
  • training and awareness activities on compliance matters; and
  • continuous compliance monitoring and enforcing the compliance procedures as applicable within the group.

Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience

  • Master degree in Law with an interest in gaining relevant understanding of compliance matters;
  • Demonstrates strong skills in business processes and internal controls and corporate governance;
  • High level of analytical abilities, able to simplify complex arguments to support compliance issues identified;
  • Demonstrate effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills;
  • English fluency is a must;
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy;
  • Experience of risk and compliance issues is preferred
