Key Account Manager E&I

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – E&I to help us shape the future.

Based in Mexico City, you will be responsible for sales in the E&I market, prospecting new customers, keeping up to date about the market and supporting the growth of Prysmian in this market, whilst being a part of our world class “Sell It” career program.

What is the SELL IT Program?

Sell It is a structured program, of up to three years, designed to help new sales employees quickly get up-to-speed on the business, products, and culture of the Prysmian Group, while learning how to apply their skills to the business from day one.

Your career path will be assessed at regular checkpoints, to make sure you’re getting the most from the program. Since Prysmian Group is a highly meritocratic environment, these evaluation steps are essential to build a growing path and in only three years top performers might have the chance of living a tangible and concrete professional growth with constant visibility on their careers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will be Sales Executive/KAM, managing existing accounts and developing new accounts in the market and in different regions
  • Develop market studies by region
  • Analyze and make decisions about where to invert based on opportunities
  • Prospect new projects
  • Work on generating demand – working in close partnership with Engineering companies and target customers
  • Manage both distribution channel as well as Engineering companies / EPCs
  • Achieve Sales target goals in the assigned market

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

We’re are looking for a Key Account Manager who is eager to succeed and capable of moving in a heterogeneous market with resilience and a customer oriented approach..   We are looking for the following skills and motivations: 

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in external Sales roles in multinational companies
  • Knowledge/Experience in the electric sector
  • Experience using CRM, like Salesforce
  • Proactivity
  • Hunter profile to penetrate new markets and look for new business
  • Self-driven and ability to work with autonomy
  • Can-do attitude with a positive approach and high energy to perform the activities
  • Ability to understand the company’s and set goals
  • Negotiation and ability to develop new accounts
  • Resiliency and capability to manage changes during the work
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
