Team Overview and Job responsibilities

Within the Strategy Team, under the supervision of the Chief Strategy Officer, we are looking for a Strategy Senior Manager based in our HQ in Milan. The ideal candidate will be responsible of both organic and inorganic growth projects working with both internal resources (e.g., legal, finance, business) and external resources (financial advisors). He/her will deliver end-to-end projects linked to both:

  • Inorganic growth: from deal origination or preliminary study of a potential target to due diligence activities, signing and closing
  • Ongoing business: e.g., portfolio optimization

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Strategy Senior Manager based in our HQ in Milan with the following key requirements:

  • At least five to eight years of professional experience in M&A/Investment Banking in Tier I international institutions or boutiques
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or Maths/Physics
  • Experienced self-standing project leader delivering end-to-end solutions and projects
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand the “big picture” coupled with judgement to get into the required level of detail as needed
  • Demonstrates ability to interact, expand and manage relationships both internally (e.g., representatives from legal and sales/business teams), and externally (e.g., banks, advisors and counterparts)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrating gravitas and impact vis-à-vis internal business leaders, and external counterparts
  • High numeracy skills, proficiency in.xls modeling, as well as core M&A matters (e.g., company valuation methods, accounting, legal, tax, contracts / SPA)
  • Flexible in producing his own .xls and presentation works (when needed) and train more junior colleagues as needed - XLS modelling
  • Core M&A matters: e.g., company valuation methods, contracts / SPA
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Availability to travel
