Team overview and job responsibilities


We are looking for an HSE Supervisor to join our Security Team. Based in Nogales – Mexico. This candidate will be responsible for supporting the coordination of the environment, safety and hygiene areas of the company. Through activities that allow compliance with the environmental safety and occupational health requirements demanded by the operation.


Job responsibilities


  • Coordination of formalities, operation, maintenance in requisition necessary to operate in full compliance in federal and local units such as ecology, IMSS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CEDES, STPS, OOMAPAS.
  • Coordinate the management and disposal of hazardous waste according to legal requirements
  • Responsible for developing and approving IMDS required by the client.
  • Identify and control the provisions of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste, to comply with internal environmental requirements.
  • Monitor lighting and noise conditions inside the plant, to generate a report with the results obtained and issue a copy of the plant maintenance department.
  • Complying with STPS regulations
  • Assessment of environmental and safety conditions
  • Physical audits in the development of good safety, health and environmental practices
  • Control, investigation and documentation of work accidents
  • Create and modify procedures and instructions related to the environmental management system
  • Meet environmental management system requirements
  • Simulations, operating licenses.


Who are we looking for?


  • Engineering or experience related to Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Minimun 2 years of experience in related positions
  • Good Written and spoken English Skills.
  • Knowledge of municipal, state and federal environmental laws
  • Knowledge in aspects related to the secretariat of work, IMSS, EPA, OSHA, DOT.
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel management.
  • Teamwork, Pro-activity and Leadership.
