Team Overview and Job Responsibilities


As Production Supervisor, you will plan, organize, and take responsibility for an assigned production area.  You will ensure that product flow is within operating parameters and flows smoothly.  This is a 3rd shift, rotational role.


What you’ll do:

  • Ensure that work instructions correspond with job
  • Support all personnel and activities involved in your assigned area
  • Conduct weekly inventory of all supplies and chemicals necessary for production, and communicate needs with the Value Stream Manager
  • Update production schedules daily
  • Daily production reporting
  • Consolidate daily scrap data into one report
  • Conduct daily count of available inventory
  • Perform TS 16949 compliance auditor responsibilities for the Value Stream
  • Participate in the development of standardized training and conducts training for all TS 16949 documents in the Value Stream
  • Review existing manufacturing methods and recommend new or revised methods to reduce scrap and cut costs
  • Maintain a list of all Value Stream welders’ P.M.'s, swaging tool calibrations, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze machine standards per products on all production equipment
  • Collaborate and communicate with all leaders in the Value Stream to ensure the proper use of operational methods to reduce scrap and operating costs
  • Responsible for the storage of department materials and supplies
  • Review progress continually, and maintain and prepare reports and records
  • Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities, identify and record problems relating to product quality, processes, and quality systems, as well as controlling further processing or delivery of nonconforming product
  • Adhere to all local and corporate safety policies, and promote department and overall plant safety objectives
  • Leadership – coach, plan, support, conflict management
  • Problem solving, decision making



Who are we looking for?





  • High School Diploma
  • At least one year of related experience
  • Ability to work night shift on a rotation
  • OSHA, EHS, TS16949 knowledge
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
  • Frequent walking required
  • Must be able to work overtime either before or after normal starting times and on weekends



  • Associates Degree
