Sales Executive - Oil & Gas

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to help us shape the future.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, you will be responsible for promote and sell the organization’s products for you assigned territory, whilst being a part of our world class “Sell It” career program.


Key responsibilities:

• To contribute to the definition of the action plan to serve the customer portfolio with strategic information.

• To promote the company aiming new product sales, new customers and new markets, visiting all customer contacts in order to keep the good commercial relationship.

• To drive negotiations with profitability analysis, active competitors by region and product mix.

• To promote technical training in clients with the purpose of promoting the company's brand and dissemination of the product technical differentials.

• To identify new business opportunities and prospects.

• To build and tracking project opportunities pipeline.

• To monitor and review the sales plan with its manager, controlling the goals and forecast.


What is the SELL IT Program?

Sell It is a structured up to three years program designed to help new sales employees quickly get up-to-speed on the business, products, and culture of the Prysmian Group, while learning how to apply their skills to the business from day one.

We’re are looking for a Sales Executive who is eager to succeed and capable of moving in a heterogeneous market with resilience and a customer oriented approach..   We are looking for the following skills and motivations: 


Must have:

  • Profile:  Sales hunter, flexible, dynamic and self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – preferably electrical degree
  • Minimum 3 years in outside sales – preferably in oil & gas market segment
  • Fluent Portuguese and advanced English
  • Team work and proactivity skills
  • Office package skill: Excel, Word, Powerpoint


    Nice to have:

  • New customer development experience
  • Key account experience
  • OGP upstream and downstream market & trend knowledge
  • Experience on follow up / entering prospects in CRM system.
  • Business writing, organizational and presentation skills
