We are looking for an experienced Sales Area Manager to help us shape the future.

Based in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Barcelona, you will be responsible for manage the commercial activity in the assigned region (Spain and Iberia), establishing target objectives and achieving sales target goals in existing and new accounts whilst being a part of our world class “Sell It” career program.


What is the SELL IT Program?

Sell It is a structured program, of up to three years, designed to help new sales employees quickly get up-to-speed on the business, products, and culture of the Prysmian Group, while learning how to apply their skills to the business from day one.

  • Achieve sales target for the O&G and OEM cables
  • Keep up to date about the markets, competitors, products, pricing, to have enough knowledge of the target markets to negotiate with customers
  • Manage existing accounts and look for new prospects in the market to expand the perimeter of the sales.
  • Negotiation with customers
  • Read documents and conditions related to the orders and projects.
  • Follow up with customers on ongoing projects, after order confirmed to support both customers and internal departments in any needs.



We’re are looking for a Sales Area Manager who is eager to succeed and capable of moving in a heterogeneous market with resilience and a customer oriented approach.   We are looking for the following skills and motivations: 

  • Degree in Engineering (technical field preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales within a manufacturing/industrial environment, looking EPCs
  • Technical Sales experience - O&G and OEM markets
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with different stakeholders – from purchasers to Engineers, with ability to handle technical conversations
  • Experience reading documents (terms, conditions, etc) will be a plus
  • Experience managing existing accounts and looking for new prospects in the market
  • Wish to quickly learn and get involved

  • Commercial mindset and negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel to business development purpose
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. French is a plus.
