Process Engineering Manager

Schuylkill Haven, PA

This position is responsible for all product development and process engineering projects.  It is responsible for third party product testing submittals, assuring that all new products meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of customer specification and/or required standards.  This position must understand technical standards, related products, programs and services, working under the guidance of the Director of Product Development, while performing these duties in a timely manner.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage all product development and process engineering activities at the Plant.
  2. Prepare product development designs.
  3. Assess plant capabilities related o new product development.
  4. Reports product development/experimental findings to the appropriate management for evaluation.
  5. Responsible for third party submittals, listings, and approvals.
  6. Recommends and reports machinery/areas that need improvement as discovered ruing trials.
  7. Accompanies sales personnel during new product development activities with customers.
  8. Supports manufacturing on all new product development or experimental projects.
  9. Assists engineering with new product development goals.
  10. Oversees process engineering efforts on cost savings opportunities, support for new products, and tracking expenses.
  11. Supports Lean Projects as needed.


  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification and strong LEAN Manufacturing expertise.
  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing operation
  • Proven track record in leading high-performance teams and attaining results; able to quantify results
  • Proficient computer skill including M/S Office and Project Management
  • SAP Knowledge a plus.
