We are looking for a Regional Supply Chain Manager based in our Singapore office in the West area.

 

Job Purpose:

Manage Telecom business Supply Chain and customer service activities in line with Central Business Unit guidelines.

 

Ensure timely order management and customer delivery, from order received, communication with the factories, production schedule, shipment incoterms and on-time delivery

 

Work closely with the sales team and support the delivery schedules and monthly reports such as forecast and sales delivery report.

 

Facilitate Telecom S&OP in collaboration with the regional Sales team and other business units.  

 

Responsible for Telecom Continuous Improvement in Supply Chain and customer service processes.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Periodic report management (S&OP, Business Unit Director and Sales Team)
  • Working with the front line sales and back office to coordinate the delivery of products to customers with a target of 100% OTD.
  • Manage the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
  • Manage the order cycle and associated supporting Information Systems (SAP)
  • Analysis of data to monitor performance and plan improvements
  • Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
  • Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers on delivery lead times, supply chain flow.
  • Manage the inventory of Telecom stocks (Stock accuracy) between physical stock against system stock
  • Manage Telecom inventory levels, stocking plan as per forecast
  • Review obsolescence stock, excess stock and phasing out products
  • Monitor the Sales Orders portfolio for demand forecasting and trend analysis
  • Project Management support for large projects.
  • Leadership to the customer care team to perform their core responsibilities effectively and efficiently
  • Handle analytical reports and figures relating to commercial activities on a daily / monthly basis

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Telecom sales activities which include Intercompany, Third Parties Inbound and Outbound processes.
  • Collaboration with the Logistics team in Singapore in relation to the full Supply Chain flows, from Demand Planning, order processing to Production planning,  following the Stock Management, Dispatch and Warehouse activities.
  • Fully responsible for Telecom Inventory level in the ASEAN Region, defining targets and operative stock levels in coordination with local Sales requirements and Central Business Unit guidelines
  • Effective back-office supports to the frontline sales
  • Strong controller of dedicated supply chain/customer service processes
  • Managing the customer service team of 3 people.

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • At least 5 years of related work experience in MNC’s.
  • Proven track record of Logistics and Operations management.
  • People management skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin is a must.
  • Mature and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good mix of business and technical acumen.
  • High initiative and able to anticipate possible risks/potentials.
  • Good presentation skills and an eye for detail.
